Latest Makeup Finds (My video debut)

Hey, everyone! This is my first video review. I reviewed products from Wet n Wild’s Fergie line, as well as some nail polishes from Sally Hansen and Essie. Check it out! Sorry, for the filming quality. I used my iPhone and I didn’t use it in landscape mode. What was I thinking!? Also, they only let me choose from 3 screen captures as my main picture. They were all hideous! The one you see is as good as it gets! Haha. Anyway, hope you enjoy the reviews, and feel free to contact me with any question on the products I reviewed.

Happy first day of summer, my loves! And being on a Friday makes it all that much better. Let the summer weekend begin!

Pretty as a Picture

Pretty as a PictureHello, darlings!  Hope everyone had a marvelous Memorial Day weekend! I wore this little number on Saturday to kick off the weekend. I bought this skirt on clearance almost 2 years ago and I am just now wearing it! I don ‘t know what took me so long! I was drawn to the cream color instantly when I saw it hanging on the rack, and then I was taken by surprise to see that the print of the skirt was snakeskin. I instantly had to have it! It’s girly with a fun edge. One of the best things about this cream color skirt is you can pair it with any bright color blouse and it will look amazing! I wanted to go more simple with jewelry and chose earrings and bangles only – to keep focus on the outfit itself. And since I was already wearing snakeskin I thought I should add some leopard print too! Why not, right?  So these heels fit the bill! Lastly, I added a Steve Madden handbag and a pair of oversized sunnies to complete my look.

My outfit: Blouse: Forever 21; Skirt: Target (old – clearance); Shoes: Forever 21; Handbag: Steve Madden (old – gift); Bangles: Forever 21; Earrings: Wet Seal (clearance); Watch: vintage Bulova; Sunnies: Big Lots; Lipstick: Sephora Rouge Shine (in the shade Flashy); Eyeshadow: L’Oreal Infallible 24 HR( in the color Endless Sea); Nails: Wet n Wild Fast Dry (in the color Sagreena the Teenage Witch) and Nars shimmer (in the color Purple Rain).

Wet n Wild Retro Pink Silk Finish Lipstick

Wet n Wild Retro Pink Silk Finish Lipstick

Hello, darlings! Just a quick post to tell you about an amazing little find that I purchased on a whim at Walgreen’s yesterday afternoon from the Wet n Wild beauty line.

I was pleasantly surprised by this lipstick. It’s from Wet n Wild in the shade Retro Pink.  It has good staying power (like seriously good) and vibrant color. It can be a little drying, but still very much worth the purchase. And it was only 99 cents! Still, even with it being so cheap I actually liked it better than some of my high end lipsticks.  Just layer a little lip balm over it to add moisture to your pout. Seriously good stuff from Wet n Wild beauty. This is great for making a bold lip statement. This particular shade has a purple undertone, but it’s subtle (think lilac or lavender), and I find that I can’t get enough of this lipstick. I think I’m in love with this shade of pink! It definitely turns heads! And if this color doesn’t tickle your fancy they have other colors. With their wide variety of shades I’m sure you’ll find the perfect shade of beautiful for you! Take a look at their colors here.
